About

Youth fishing programs including Kid's Fishing Day, S.A.L.T.Y. (Saltwater Angling Lessons & Techniques for Youth), and Rods & Reels for Kids. Founded in 1934, the West Palm Beach Fishing Club runs these hands-on experiences to introduce kids to saltwater fishing and marine conservation. Kid's Fishing Day has been running since 1988 and brings kids out on the water for their first fishing experience. The club also distributes thousands of rod and reel outfits to local youth groups and teaches responsible angling techniques. Based at their historic downtown clubhouse, these programs focus on building the next generation of knowledgeable saltwater anglers.
